People are great motivators. First turn to yourself - make goals that you can achieve in a short amount of time, and make goals that will take a little longer. Figure out why you want to meet those goals and how you will reward yourself when you meet them. As far as exercise goes, find something that keeps you interested, or find many things that you can rotate through.
Second, turn to friends. They will keep you acountable. Tell them about your goals and deadlines, and when you are straying from your path, let them help you back on. Friends can also make good workout partners, provided they are there to work and not to chat.
