I did, yes! I can visualize myself in those "pigtails" with big colorful bows attached at the ends and wearing my "penefore" dress while jumping the numbers drawn on the sidewalk. Fond memory.

For sure. Our parents did not worry so much because the government did not stick their collective noses where it was not needed. Abuse was where it needed to go. Not if my son was "feeling" free that day.
