    yeah this annoys me. I have broadband. But because I live in the middle of blimmin' nowhere the speed is rubbish and youtube videos sometimes do take a while to load.

    it dose take that long for me most times im in the uk and i have mobile broad band you put this little thing in your usb lead for the internet its like a cell phone but for the internet its with t mobile ands its crap i need to get the cabled thing i think

    That sounds about right when I had dial-up. I couldn't watch them the way I wanted to so I stopped. Now that I have dsl, it's much more enjoyable. I don't watch that many in a day, but the few that I do watch loads in a few seconds.

    I would do as MightyYells said, put the video on to buffer and go do something else and after it had finished buffering, it would play through like it is supposed to. I remember those days! I am very thankful to now have DSL high speed internet! :-)

    For me it frequently does.

    At home, my only real option right now is to access the net via my mobile connection. The cell site, I guess, is old and slow. Frequently I get only a few Kb/s. Anything over 20 Kb and I'm laughing! ;-(

    I guess it means I use these types of options a lot less, but have learned to handle it by doing other things while it is loading.
