I always loved Marmite, and about a month ago I tried Vegemite for the first time - and I prefer Vegemite. It's less salty.

I'm still not convinced that marmite is actually food. It smells like something a nurse would clean off an old lady's fungal infection in a nursing home, and that smell is enough to ensure that it isn't going near my mouth. As vegemite sounds vaguely similar I have no intention of trying it either.

Vegemite, definitely. Marmite tastes like something you'd scrape from underneath a desk in a high school.
Do you buy bulk food items and then cook from scratch ? it's exponentially cheaper and healthier you know?
