    "All in the Family"

but it couldn't be done successfully ( for me ) without the late Carroll O'Connor, and original cast members Jean Stapleton, Sally Struthers and Rob Reiner

Just showing reruns weekly, in primetime, of the original show in its original order would do just fine for me! [ I do the first five seasons on DVD ]

    +5

~ I do remember when years after the show had been canceled and off-the-air with any new episodes, that CBS-TV in the summer re-broadcast the series in prime time. Ratings-wise, it beat out all the other shows. ~

WKRP in Cincinatti. I think that was the name with Loni Anderson. I loved that show as well as Night Court.
