Sure they could make a mistake. It happens to the best of them. I don't think, when a coach does make a mistake, that he gets very much sympathy from the fans, either.

Ask Bill Bellichek... Happens quite a lot, not just by him, but by many other coaches in the NFL and elsewhere.
Why don't Sports teams have worthy backups for their main players? Such as Quarterbacks.
