Just as the media is free to report what they like, a politician is free to speak his or her mind. If I don't agree with a store's policy, I'm free not to shop there. If a politician doesn't agree with a media organization's methods, he or she are free not to speak to them. It's really not a big deal.
Calling them out is fine. But boycotting and snubbing them is dangerous to the Republic.
Politicians usually deserve whatever they get, so no, they shouldn't call out reporters.
Are we talking about the Big Bad Liberal Media who had a vendetta against Bu$h?
