I just opened an EBAY account but it didn't ask me how I would be paying. I put a bid on an item. How exactly do I pay for it?

if you win you will be taken to a order page asking for mode of payment (visa/mastercard/paypal) best to use paypal cause if something goes wrong best chance of getting your money back.
also if you don't receive the item within 2.5 to 3 weeks of sale/payment contact seller if not satisfied by 3.5 weeks file a complaint if you wait more then 30 days your screwed.
also watch out for S&H bait and switch i.e price 0.99 shipping and handling 29.99
always read offer thoroughly before bidding/buying

Almost all eBay sellers want a payment via paypal. AND eBay is heading in that direction whether or not a seller wants to take paypal.
