Ok, so how about i used to have wirless internet connection, and now all of a sudden i dont. i think that this is a virus issue. has anyone had anything to do with this? please help.

    Is this a USB adapter?. Check your device manager. Find your adapter and see if there is a yellow triangle next to it. You can try right clicking on it and uninstall the driver then reinstall it. I need to know more about your set up(OS,Router make and model, how far away are you from the router).

    Is your router good?
    Is your wifi driver good?
    Were you siphoning wifi off of a neighbor who decided to secure their network?

    I can think of quite a few non-virus reasons, and those are just the most likely. And if it *is* a virus then you really shouldn't be online with that system until you figure out how to secure it. Not all AV software is created equal... but then again, many software issues are the result of user error and not a virus.
