I think you just know if you love someone. It's quite distinct.
However, do not confuse obsession and lust with love. A lot of teenagers think they are in love because they "can't stop thinking about" someone. This could just mean you are extremely attracted to them, it doesn't mean love.
Think about it properly, you should know yourself whether this is actual love or not, regardless of what age you are.
