    Gen 9:3 and exodus 16:8..8And Moses said, "When the LORD gives you in the evening meat to eat and in the morning bread to the full, because the LORD has heard your grumbling that you grumble against him

    Genesis 9:3. "Every creature that is alive shall be yours to eat; I give them all to you as I did the green plants." This is different than Genesis 1:29 which seems to imply that all creatures should be vegetarians. Even lions and tigers, I suppose.

    If God had not intended for us to eat animals he would have made them out of foam rubber instead of meat...
