• Yeah, maybe. Redneck jokes are like military food jokes, though. Lower humor than puns. So easy even George W. can do one. The freaky Californian making fun of someone is about like the car full of ugly guys dissing the ugly girls they pass by.

• Oh, I don't watch him! Believe me! But there he is, Sunday morning, on the political show, poking fun at hillbillies with twice his brainpower.

• You'll notice that Johnny Carson was NEVER a guest (of any kind) on Leno's version of "Tonight," but he was a regular contributor of monologue jokes (and "Top 10 List" ideas) for David Letterman, because Dave was Johnny's personal, hand-picked choice to be his replacement, but NBC executives, in what has to be the dumbest decision in television history, nixed Johnny's passionate recommendation for Letterman, and hired Leno, instead. I never once watched Leno; the show would never be the same, ever, after Johnny left it.
