By make a name I assume that you mean to make it popular/respectable. The way that that is weighed out is by how popular the comapany is, how many people know about it. The amount of advertising/marketing that the company has can help with that part. Also by the work that the company does. Is the work good or bad, and how is there customer service?
These are the main things that will "make a name" for any company.
Always remeber that it is quality that people are looking for.
