    MRSHINYSHOES

"The Littlest Hobo", a Canadian made t.v. series in the early 80s about a runaway police dog who goes from town to town helping people in trouble. I always felt sad for the dog at the end of every show----I think that's why I love dogs and other animals so much today.

There isn't just one. Among them -

    All in the Family
Mary Tyler Moore - very feminist for her time without being strident like Maude
    M*A*S*H

In other words, social consciousness raising stuff. And not exactly from my childhood - we didn't even have a television in the house when I was a child.
