I have a monitor that says d-sub. I want to plug my hdmi from the ps3 to play on the monitor. What cables will I need? Does DVI-D fit in it?

The laptop monitor does work. It is just too small, so we wanted a larger monitor. I did what you instructed, and went to display settings. Monitor #1 is our laptop, but when I clicked on #2, it gave the same description as Monitor #1. I clicked on apply after clicking on Monitor #2. My laptop still doesn't "see" the 19" monitor plugged into the docking station. Any other suggestions, or should we just take it to a repair shop?
