Help answer this question below.

My husband in Belize has 1990 Crown Vic. Someone drove it with emergency brakes on. First replaced transmission had forward gears only, now second replaced trans has reverse only. Can something be done to make one of them work properly?

You should now have two transmissions. Take them apart and use the best parts from each. If you can't do that, buy a new or rebuilt one instead of an untested used one.
