Help answer this question below.

Im on the pill but on antibiotics aswel which stop my pill from working, i took the morning after pill the day after, but have noticed ive been having stomach pains, could i be pregna

    Maybe.I think you need to consult a doctor, pharmacy or family planning clinic.If you shouldn't take the normal pill because the antibiotics stop it working,this could be the same with the morning after pill.I know that the morning after pill can also cause nausea and I think it can also cause stomach pains, or this could be the antibiotics or a reaction with them.Please seek advice.All the best.

    Stomach pains could be a side effect from taking the morning after pill, it's not a very common side effect, but it can happen. Some other uncommon side effects are headache, breast tenderness, vaginal 'spotting' of blood and dizziness. If you do not get your period, it would probably be a good idea to take a pregnancy test to make sure, or even go see a doctor. Make sure to tell your doctor next time that you are on the pill if you are going to be put on medications, just so this doesn't happen (if you didn't that is).

    Stomach pains are NOT a symptom of pregnancy. They ARE however a side effect of the morning after pill, a symptom of constipation or indigestions, and many other things.
