Does pancakes with honey or maple syrup make a good breakfast?

    as long as you throw in a couple of eggs and 4 or 5 slices of thick bacon and a cup or two of coffee.

    It makes a FANTASTIC breakfast!

    And it is even better if it is served at a restaurant or cafe in New England, where they KNOW how to make and serve them.

    Yes, pancakes are the healthiest when put together from scratch and not from a package. Furthermore, raw, unheated honey is to be preferred.

    Actually, NO....way too much refined flour and an awfully high sugar content.......If you really like pancakes, at least use the sugar free syrups on the market now, they taste really good.....and add some fresh fruit!!! and yes, scrambled eggs with that would also be great!!
