Did Charles Darwin denounce his theory of evolution and accept creationism?

    No, but that is a popular lie, told by creationists. Elizabeth Cotton started that rumor shortly after Darwins death, claiming she heard his deathbed confession. However she wasn't there at the time. Although it is believed she saw him 6 months prior to his death. Darwin's relatives who were at his bedside claim that he made no such claim.
