Can I contest a divorce after it's been final..I never signed any papers and ex wife had it finalized while she new I would be away and out of contact.

    I think (in certain states) there's a time limit during which one party can try to get the other party to agree to the divorce. After that period, the first party can request a judge to grant the divorce anyway, without the consent of the second party. Your case, however, may be different, since you don't say that she ever asked you for the divorce.
