Have you heard of the Long Range Acoustical crowd control weapon now used by our local authority to break up gatherings?

I've heard of several such. The "less-lethal" weapons have been in development for most of the last 25 years.

I am deeply troubled by the development of these devices.

The less apparently-lethal these devices are, the greater the willingness to use them.

We saw the logical (and, in my view, inhumane) outcome of this correlation with the "don't tase me, Bro!" protester.
