of the Citizen, the state does not claim to control him, except as his
conduct to others, leaving him the sole judge as to all that only affects
himself."
Well not old. my grandfather is past 60 but had a really bad drinking problem. My aunt is holding his truck keys till hes sober and has a year of soberity.
If they come to take MY keys away, they're in for one hell of a fight! Mwahahahahaha!
No, all the people I've known were too stubborn, and chose either to carry on bumping into things and having near misses, or were told to by their doctor, (not all of them listen though). I'm talking about those who should quit though of course, there are older drivers who are perfectly safe to do so.
My Gram gave up driving on her own. She was 71 and losing her eye sight rapidly. She felt unsafe so stopped driving.
After my mother-in-law was responsible for four consecutive collisions, she decided to stop driving.

You're reading Did you know of a person who reached the conclusion on their own that they were too old to drive (before others came to take their keys away)?
