  • I keep a road atlas in my car when I travel to some place for the first time (out of state), just in case. But actually, I haven't looked at a paper map in several years.
  • GPS costs a lot in my country and all devices are idiots here anyway. Last used a card in orientation contest, and that map was so bad, didn't understand a jack.
  • Several times in the last few months. I get a much better sense of my surroundings doing so. +5
  • I used a map about a month ago to show some visitors where we had been during their stay. I live on an island so small that GPS would be overkill.
  • A couple of weeks ago... I use them all the time, I carry a roap map of London with me, and we have a road atlas in the car.
  • On a road trip in January. I only use paper maps.
  • i havent use it in a long time!!!!!!LOL
  • All the time, when a map is necessary. Just hate those GPS things.
  • Today. I don't even have a GPS. The other day I asked someone for directions, and she only had a GPS. The screen was so small that it was impossible to fathom the route, so eventually she had to drive in front of me (following the directions from her GPS) to show me the way. So paper maps do have their advantages!
