Help answer this question below.
this is caused by insatlling or uninstalling trial software from Microsoft, more than likely Office 2007.
here are 2 sets of instructions one of them should fix your problem.
Providing you have business software that utilizes SQL Server, then you'll most likely want to repair these files. For more information specific to Microsoft SQL programming language, check these links:
SQL Server information: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/default.mspx
SQL Server is a RDMS geared towards business applications: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_SQL_Server
However, if you recently used a TRIAL and you're getting this error, then simply remove all the SQL programs using:
Start
Control Panel
Add or Remove Programs
"Microsoft SQL <filename>"
Remove
Restart your computer
You're done! There is no need to reinstall anything at this point. However, should you wish to, review this link before installing Microsoft SQL Server: http://www.microsoft.com/sql/downloads/trial-software.mspx#EQD
or
1. Control Panel
2. Add or Remove Programs
3. You should find the Microsoft SQL Server and Remove it ( there may be three or four so just remove all of them)
4. Then Search for the download of the Microsoft SQL Server on google or any search engine and you should come up with some type of Microsoft website
5. Download the version you want
If it helps I downloaded the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express

Not sure what it is, but it sounds like something got corrupted. A reinstall will definitely fix it if you have a windows installation disk. Even a restore point should clear it up.
