My kids contend they must be as they don't know any difference. I always thought they would have been easier to raise. They would just do what you told them and not question. Much easier to potty train. :-)

People who find happiness in their own little worlds are the happiest of all.
Even insane people, not conscious of what is going on around them, could be quite happy as far as they are concerned.
Level of intelligence and sanity have little to do with the level of happiness one enjoys.
