Because, people often feel jealous of that other person and they feel the need to eliminate that jealous feeling by destroying the cause of it.

They do. For instance my sister in laws uncle was murdered and he was a complete arse. Everyone hated this guy and rightfully so. He was a miserable basterd. However at the funeral he was automatically a saint. No ones deserve to be murdered and their sins are forgiven or at the very least not talked about after their deaths. People say good things about the dead, not things like he's dead and that's good.

That's a very interesting observation, and something I
have thought about it, too. You always have someone
crying and telling us how "nice he was." Other people
may have a completely different story, and while watching the news they thought: "Finally that a**hole
    got his."

I don't know about that. I have no problem with gang members killing other gang members - so long as no innocents get in the line of fire.

One of the biggests pricks I have ever known was murdered. This is the first time since he died that I have ever referred to him with that word. I did it frequently before he was killed (quite horiffically and tragically, it really was awful, he was a loser and an arse but never ever deserved that) - because you just can't say things like that when someone has died.

It's a whole lot of fake, mixed with a whole lot of delusion.

    Have A Nice Day

I'm gonna go with what everyone's been saying. People have this thing about saying bad things about the dead.
