Well, aside from children's books with plenty of pictures and big text, the first real novel I read was "The Lunchbox Thief" haha.

I don't remember the earliest, but the most memorable one is "Love You Forever." My mother would read it to me all of the time. It's a sad story. I don't have it anymore - I think it may be in storage. I'm thinking of buying the book for my mother this Christmas.
