I'm old fashioned and I believe that using old time legwork leads to success. The last time I lost a job I stopped at a staffing agency on the way home. That got me freshly started on the hunt, though that place had no particular fit for me at the time. Within the same week I was hearing from other places where I had made some contact (I knew in advance the job could be lost anytime). Within two weeks of losing one job I had another.
in the mirror, your appearance is important. no beard, no metal jewelry, no mustache, clean and neat, trimmed finger nails. then try craigs list in the non profit section.
