If the state requires that you be licensed, your employer could just fire you for not being licensed. You don't give enough information. Also, since you joined AB today just to ask this question, no really much cares.

California: How is a "workweek" defined? All employees are scheduled between mon.-fri. Employer says it uses sun-sat for calculating OT?

You're reading Can your employer force you to go to a school to get a license the state require and not pay you overtime? Is there a stature of limitation on back over time in Texas? Eight hours of School/ 8hours of work and some forced overtime adds up to a long week.
