1996 Volvo 850. Forgot lights on, killed the battery. Tried to jump start, the engine would turn but wouldn't start. Same with new battery

Is it customary for the Volvo V70 XC to tug or jerk as one drives, or is there something very wrong with the transmission?

You're reading 1983 Volvo 240 GL- Car just died. Cranks strong, spark-OK, fuel gets to engine-OK after crossing fuses 5 & 7. Engine won't turn over. I'll be replacing the relays. Worried this won't solve problem. Any add'tl tips?
