According to AuthorizeNet, Bidpay discontinued operations on Dec. 31, 2007. Bidpay was an online payment processor for auctions, offering payment solutions. The company helped process credit card and electronic check payments. BidPay was purchased from First Data Corporation and was ran by CyberSource since December 2005. After First Data Corporation closed Bidpay, which was previously used for purchasing money orders online, CyberSource expanded it to online auction payment processing. The decision to cease the operation of BidPay was solely a company decision. Due to a corporate decision, Bidpay is no longer in business, and clients will need to find other available options for online payment processing needs. On One Hand: Bidpay Discontinued Operations
