Help answer this question below.

For the life of me i can't remember the formula to add and subtract in a balance sheet type in excel. What is the formula for cell B being plus, cell C being minus and cell D being the balance?

    in B type "="then click on the B cell type "-", click on C cell then enter.

    You can type the resulting formula yourself as well but this is so easy I never bother so don't remeber it either!

    Assuming that cell B6 is to be added and C6 is to be subtracted, and also assuming that the value in cell C6 is a positive value, the formula in cell D6 would be =B6-C6.

    If the value in C6 is a negative value it would be =B6+C6.
