I've eaten very little of my grandmothers food. One of my grandmothers made me a bowl of angel hair pasta with a whole stick of butter on top. The butter was cold, it was disgusting. My other grandma made me a fruitcake that I found her hair in, that was disgusting. And my step grandmother makes a lot of rhubarb. which is disgusting also. If anyone wins, it's the butter grandma. I hear she makes good fried chicken, but I never get any.

My grandmother on my father's side wasn't a really great cook but she did make a mean pot roast!

Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to sample much of my other grandmother's cooking but I bet she was a good cook because my mother was a rock star in the kitchen.

I only remember the cooking of my mom's mom. She made a few wonderful dishes. But she was more into things like knitting and crocheting. A good dressmaker, too.

Both Grandmothers were good and bad depending on what they cooked.

One grandmother made the best pastries and sweets, she even made her own ladyfingers mmmmmm, but she made the worst meals, she put corn in her spaghetti and never used salt in anything.

The other grandmother thought all meat should be rare (including chicken and pork). But she made the most melt in your mouth breads, ohhh good stuff.

Both of my grandmothers were GREAT cooks. From one, my favorite was cream puffs, from the other, macaroni and cheese!

I'm sure they both made/make numerous other things... but those were the ones I wanted :)

My father's mum, the slightly batty one, was a great cook, she did it for a living. She made the best crumble in the world and taught me how to pickle, roll jam, bake bread, knit and make a cuppa.

yes, but one is kinda old, and keeps old candies from 1965, and the other force feeds me cookies, and calls me fat (not directly, but if you heard some of the things she says, you'd be insulted too!)

My one grandmother would always take us out to eat.

I would get a good laugh when she would tell us that the Steamers and beans are ready for lunch though.
