Take only what is completely necessary. Anything you can rebuy I would not take. Some things you can't rebuy and that I would take but decide what you MUST take and what you can't live without (medication, money, coat, etc) and then pack accordingly.

You can buy them at most stores. My son used them when he was in the Navy to pack his clothes because of space limitations on the ship. They work really well. Have a great trip!

You're reading Travel advice: I'll be in Scotland for 3 weeks over the holidays. I only want to take one checked bag, a small backpack, and a carry on bag. Do you have any packing tips for me? Last time I went over the max. 50 lbs and don't want to this time again.
