I make decisions on a mix of facts and emotions. The mix depends on the context of the decision. I would like to think that I am open minded. I don't call people narrow minded unless they are narrow minded.

My decisions are based on both actually -- my gut feeling seldom steers me wrong. For the most part I am pretty open minded, except dealing with molesters and racists.

You do not "decide" with emotion. Emotion may play a part but "choice" is an intellectual exercise. I am open minded in many areas, but there are some bedrock values I have that are not negotiable. If people consider me to be narrow minded or closed minded I am unaware of it.
