  • I think it's great you were thinking the other day. Try doing it every day and you'll find your answers.
  • I think there are many who believe it so strongly and blindly, that they would not believe any proof that was presented.
  • I think people would want to know. There have been many great books written about people who have tried to do exactly that. Along the way they ended up discovering undeniable evidence that religeon DOES exist, and not the once athiest are some of our strongest believers!
  • I think that there are people who wouldn't want to have the non-existence of God proven to them. There are people who, if it were proven to them would STILL believe. . The same, though, can be said of atheists. . We tend to invest in our beliefs and resist giving them up. . This is because we each have a world-view composed facts and opinions we've assembled over the years and it is who we are. A radical change can mean radical reassessment of everything we thought we believed. That takes time, brutal self-reflection and no small measure of angst. Small wonder then that people aren't eager to rebuild their worlds from scratch.
  • Religion exists. I think the question your trying to ask is if they are valid or if their god or gods are real. That's really unfalsifiable as there is no test that will satisfy someone willing to accept that faith is a virtue. The truth is out there for people to find it quite easily though and it's quite simple really.
  • Religion exists, we created it because we wanted it. That it has survived for so long seems to indicate is serves some purpose.
