For the people who took advantage of the 'Cash for Clunkers' program, do they have to declare the cash as income for their 2009 taxes?

    You may have to declare it as income on your state income tax. California is a BIG YES!

    Good question Ed. From experience if it is a gov't stimuli, then no taxes. But i'm not sure on this one.
