Do you think the bottled water companies print "do not refill" on thier water bottles to make us buy more or do they have a real reason?

    After certain time the harmful chemicals from plastic will start leaching into the water beyond safe limits. That’s why there is a ‘use before’ date on bottled waters too.

    It is also a kind of reason.But those bottles are not made of good quality plastics.SO when we use it again and again we might get some diseases.A girl in my country died out of cancer after using the bottle for 4 months.

    another reason to not refill a plastic water bottle is that they must be thoroughly cleaned before refills or bacteria grow in them

    No. i believe its because they cannot sterilize a plastic bottle.

    They must come sterilized or new, when first filled. after that, its either not possible or not worth it or both.
