Start out by making a poem, then add a rhythm and a beat. If you look at the lyrics of most songs they are just poems.
Use progressions other than 'I-IV-V-I'.
You can put it in a different meter. Try writing a song in 7/8. It'll stand out.
I have looked on lime wire for the song who do voodoo by the hex girls but can not find it can anyone tell me where i can find that song
