Why would my brake and ABS warning lights both be on when I just had new brake pads put on?

    They probably broke the connection wire to the brake pad sensor.... it happens.

    I am driving a Ford... My ABS and Brake lights have come on just now... I had new brakes recently. As I was coming along the road just now it felt and sounded like the ABS kicked in when I broke for no apparent reason???
