  • Hell yes I do!!! But I have Bluetooth
  • No, it causes many accidents. I am talking about the hand held phones. I almost got in an accident with someone this weekend who cut me off after cutting across three lanes and almost hitting me while merrily chatting away. I gave the bastard hell at the red light. People like that deserve a big ticket.
  • Definately not! I use my phone as little as possible since I learned to organize my life. Things just seem to fall into line and I don't have to spend all day on the phone fixing things!
  • Funny how most of these answers so far say no. A study came out about a year ago...it asked what percentage of drivers were a danger on the road and the result was somewhere in the 70% range. But when asked if the person being polled was a safe driver, the more than 80% ansered they were. I ride a motorcycle. With rare exception, the only times - and there have been many - when I was nearly involved in an accident was whan the other driver was on the phone. I reserve cell phone use to the time before I engage my vehicle in drive or after I'm parked. After all, with the ecxeption of being a brain surgeon on call, what is so important to talk about that I have to endanger myself oand others?
  • As little as possible. I think it is a distraction. I usually try to call before I start driving, or pull over if possible to talk. There are times when I am driving but driving comes first and I stop talking if I need to concentrate on something. I find it annoys me when people are driving and trying to have a conversation with me as the passenger and they're not paying attention to their driving then. I want to say, "Just be quiet and drive, we can talk later."
