  • I've answered two questions like this before but I'm too lazy to find them. **Start off by getting the right tools and parts ahead of time. 1. Lift vehicle 2. Drain Fuel tank (safely) 3. Take off fuel tank straps 4. Remove tank (disconnect filler neck if need be) 5. Remove sending unit (comprised of pump, filter, and level sensor) 6. Remove and replace pump 7. Replace sending unit (properly) 8. Re-secure fuel tank straps (including filler neck if applicable) 9. Lower vehicle 10. Fill tank 11. Fire it up and see if it works. Good luck, Hope this helps
