Microsoft Paint tough to use, ha ha that is funny. If you want a real graphics program then download the freebie GIMP or Paint.NET, just do a search on Google for them. Photoshop is top of the range and has a steep learning curve but is worth the time and effort spent learning it.
Photoshop Pro is far, far better than MS Paint, but you're going to pay for it.
NO!!!
MS Pain is terrible! You're right that it is tough to use though.
Photoshop and/or Illustrator is probably one of the best, but they're VERY expensive. I haven't used it myself, but I hear that GIMP is pretty good, and you can download it for free.
My 2D art software of choice is Adobe Illustrator, in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop. Microsoft Paint is based on older technology, and its tools can be extraordinarily limiting by today's standards.
Im a graphics Designer (well still going to school) and I use Adobe CS4 Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign. But when I first started, a few years ago, I used Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 A LOT. In my opinion MS Paint is a very primitive and horrible program, dont bother with it. My recommendation would be either The Gimp (raster) or Inkscape (vector) both of wich are freeware or Paint Shop Pro. For Paint Shop Pro if you look around on E-Bay you can find it for under $30.00. The newer ones are by Coral cause they bought out Jasc. Paint Shop is just as power-full as Photoshop and is way easier to learn. It can also do basic vector art too which falls under the realm of Illustrator in the Adobe world. Plus what you learn from either The Gimp or Paint Shop Pro would EASILY apply to Photoshop. Finally if photography is more your thing then you may even want to consider Adobe Photoshop Elements which goes for about $100.00 and is a very stripped down version of Photoshop Standard.

You're reading Hello, I am new to these crazy things called computers. I am looking into getting into getting into digital art. Is Microsoft Paint the best graphics software available? It seems pretty hi-tech and tough to use.
