Moliere died after a performance and because of his rep. never got last rites. The priests wouldn't do it.
Moliere's costume -- the clothing that he died in -- was green. And since that time, actors have maintained the superstition that it is highly unlucky to wear green while on-stage.
Personally there are so many lucky and unlucky things according to stage folk it's probably unlucky to breathe too quickly on a Tuesday. I wouldn't worry about anything other than getting pinched.
