Yes, to me it was difficult. I taught myself and I wrecked a few times.
It's not hard if you a calm, rational person who is able to focus on a task and take direction without arguement or discussion.

Yes it was, but partially because I learned on big vehicles in crowded cities. The car I learned on was a '79 Cutlass Supreme, a beast. The motorcycle I learned on was a 550 pound Yamaha 750 Special, another beast for a beginner. I got into my share of accidents and laydowns. Luckily none of the laydowns were serious. Unfortunately, I did total one of the first cars I drove- it was a Dodge Challenger, which was actually pretty small because for a while those were being made by Mitsubishi in Japan.
not really although the backing up i found it to be a little tougher than just driving forward.
Parallel parking wasn't easy for me. Just remember that all the other drivers are idiots so you can expect accidents. You should be fine, Goodluck!

"No." Learning to do something that you really love usually comes pretty easy. Started off with automobiles, graduated to motorcycles, then tried my hand at piloting boats and my most recent driving adventure has been in 18 wheelers. Many different types of vehicles, each requiring it's own special skills, but it's been challenging and rewarding .... a lot of fun.
nope, it was very easy. i was 13 years old and my mom taught me with a car that had a stick shift, i loved it...
A litle, I was eleven, and my dad had me driving our huge 3/4 ton chevy. But that was almost 30 years ago. No problems now.
No, waited until I was 20 or so to learn. A few years later went pro. Had a dream to follow, so did it right.
