Naw, All my dates were grand.
But I wouldnt mind if he had a 2 for 1...Then that means we still have money to buy a bottle, or go do something later. Right?!?!

I say if that is a romance killer for your date, you need to look elsewhere. It shows you're thrify, and you don't have to make a scene about it. If he/she has a problem with it, just imagine what married life would be like...provided you aren't filthy rich. As for things that I did to not get a second date....probably saying stating my beliefs that sex is for marriage. Luckily, I'm happily married now and in marriage is great. ;)

It would not bother me using a 2for1 coupon knowing the current financial situation's in this country.

Actually, that wouldn't turn me off, as long as he didn't take me somewhere tacky like Burger King. I'd think that he had an eye for a bargain.

Not to be arrogant, but in answer to the original question, I can't think of anything I did that kept me from getting a second date. I usually don't have a problem with that.

if I was paying and she pulled that coupon out she would be virtualy guaranteed a second date. means she has financial sense and would be a far better mate than the girl who is offended by such a coupon. I also refuse to marry a girl who expects a diamond.... I will not contribute to the diamond cartel

It IS?! I always thought being good with money was attractive to the ladies... No wonder all my married friends are up to thier asses in debt.... and my girlfriend is mad because I managed to get her that $3000 REAL DIAMOND AND GOLD tennis bracelet for $450. Maybe I shouldn't have told her I found it cheaper online....

That's only like the easiest thing to do ever!!! First, I make it a point to take all of my dates to a place where I know the waitresses are totally hot (Sonny's is a great example). I also make it a point at first to refrain from flirting or staring at them and all of my focus goes to my date. But once I have decided that the date is going absolutely nowhere and I need a quick exit, all I have to do is start coughing like crazy and when one of the totally hot waitress comes over to check on me, I start flirting with her right in front of my date!!! To this day, I have never had a girl stay at the table more than 15 seconds after that!!!

I never did. I gotta say, though, you don't need to be an /expert/ to figure out that that might be a no-go.
