Question

Help answer this question below.

I bought a laptop at a flea market and everything works except I can't access anything that requires a password, the page won't open. Does anyone know how to remedy this? It is an HP.

That's a confusing problem description: what do you mean "can't access anything that requires a password"?

What operating system do you have? If you can log in, you obviously know the password for that. Are you saying that you can't do any administrative functions that require privileges? How did you get the password you have? What do you mean by "page won't open"... pages are for web browsers, not computer administration.

If I try to go anywhere that needs a password, like hotmail, gmail or if I try to log into any account I have on line the page won't open, I get the message that says "page unavailable".
It is running on xp professional and I don't need a password to start it.
