air intake temp sensor or IAT should be part of the mass air flow sensor on 4.6l and 5.4l. If not it is located in the tube between the air cleaner and the throttle body, and will have a two wire plug. Coolant temp sensor should be on the intake manifold crossover tube, this is the cast metal tube that goes between the heads just behind the alternator, if my memory serves, again a two wire connector.

the catalytic on my 98 expedition was clogged so we did a hole to cleaned , after that give 5mpg and eng drops power could be this the reas?
