Help answer this question below.
I'll be sticking with my all season tires. If things get a bit hairy I'll just throw on my chains.
LOL. They probably don't do too much sales in snow tires where I live.
Nope, 4wheel Drive. All seasons work fine.
well with the drought it will be 4 wheel drive as i am off at Christmas to the out back and dry red sand hills await me .+4
none for me either live in south Mississippi, right on the gulf of mexico
No snow tires for me, I live in Florida.
Never had the need to here in Auckland ;)
Only ever been in a vehicle once where it had to stop to put chains on (bus up a mountain).
Did travel the South Island for 6 weeks in our own vehicle many years ago ... didnt give a thought to driving in the snow .. perhaps we should have tho! lol .. not a nice feeling - slipping and sliding without control.
I'll be on my 2 year old all seasons as I can't afford new tires right now. I drive a mustang so the snow will be a bit interesting this year. I don't have much tread left in back. (oops I just realized this was a last year question... well that's whats happening this year...) I guess I better make sure my AAA is paid up for when I get stuck.
Who came up with aaa in 1933?

lol
Snow tires are a little (lot) less of a hassle than chains. Set it and forget it. I can't justify buying snow/studded tires though. We only have a few weeks of snow and the DOT is usually good about keeping it off of the road.
