I think I have finally found an Absolute, Universal truth! "Time spent with loved ones always goes by too quickly!" What do you think? Do you have any other Universal/Absolute truths to share?

Welcome to Answerbag ZMF. Thank you for your answer and Happy Monday. I disagree with you but I am not a chess master so I cannot fault your statement as long as it is confined to Chess. :)My greatest strength is gratitude/appreciation and my greatest weakness is impatience. There is nothing about being grateful/appreciative that is weak nor is there any strength at all in being impatient. Just my opinion. Thank you for yours! :)

I'm no chess master myself that said. When I say your greatest strength is your greatest weakness I meant in your case if you think of your loved ones no matter what life throws at you they are there to keep you going so they are your strength. If you lost them your strength is gone a lack of strength is the best way I can think of to describe weakness. Everyone has something that they learn to depend on in any situation knowledge, speed, muscle, a tool, a person, ext. When they have that taken away it takes time to find something to keep them moving that's when someone is weakest.

Excellent example Z. That is so true and I had not thought of that at all. Thank you for the clarification. I'd say rather than weakness perhaps your greatest vulnerability. I think of "weakness" as a failing/fault and loving people is never a fault or weakness to me. Happy Tuesday and thank you again for expanding on your answer. I "get it"! :)

I see you focus on the "bright" side of life Spicy. Thank you for your answer and Happy Monday to you! :) Some don't pay taxes...they have offshore accounts, "cook" the books, use all the loopholes available to them. We will all die in body for sure..but some of us will live in the memory of our loved ones and there is infinite immortality in our progeny and theirs and theirs and theirs. :)

I'm sorry to hear that my friend. I'm so doggone lucky. My general status is pain-free. Jim has pain in his back, hips and knees 24/7 and it is more pronounced when he has been in one position too long and starts to move. That is always with him. He has occasional discomfort with his digestion. I don't know why I can't share some of that with him. It seems so unfair to me. I hope today is a good day for you Spicy!
